The Great Lakes basin is as wonderfully wild and filled with indescribable beauty.
This contrast between the natural world and the industrial world is difficult for many
to comprehend, and to coexist within. I find enjoyment in both, and find the imagery in
nature to be a compliment to what I see in the industrial maritime world. The same sense of
symetry and pattern emerge and capture my attention.
