The vessel is 806-feet in length and carries around 26,000 tons per trip.

consists of broken pellets and waste material from the pellet making process.

approximately 24 hours to load this cargo of 26,500 tons for Mittal Steel in Burns Harbor, Indiana.

Captain Brad Newland
Brad Newland is the relief captain for the Beeghly's regular skipper. Brad started his sailing career in 1991
on the McKee Sons. Brad is married, with five children. In his spare time he enjoys building ship models.
