Algosoo loading coal
The Algosoo loads coal at Superior's Midwest Energy Terminal.
The Algosoo, launched in 1974, was the last lake carrier built with
forward and aft cabins.

The Algosoo arrived in ballast from Lambton Power on the St. Clair River.
This cargo will take the vessel to Ontario Power Generation's coal-fired
station at Nanticoke on Lake Erie.

E. B. Sevor left his native land of Ghana, West Africa
to see the world before settling in Ottawa, Canada.

Marine for 26 years, the past four as master
of the M/V Algosoo.

Wheelsman, Ron Quirk
AB Wheelsman Ron Quirk, a native of Nova Scotia,
began his sailing career with Algoma Central Marine
in 1971 aboard the Sir Denys Lowson.
