The Algontario's primary cargo for the next several years will be a titanium laden ore (ilmenite) loaded for QIT (QIT-Fer et Titane).

The Algontario will load at Harve-Saint- Piere to QIT's processing plant at Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. The Algontario is expected to carry an average of 30,000 tonnes per trip.
